Corporate Social Responsibility

Our

CSR

At IT.ie we believe in being good corporate citizens so that we may benefit our clients, or employees and our community. As a Guaranteed Irish member, we also work hard to live up to its ethos to provide quality jobs, support local communities and are committed to Irish provenance.

Some of our ongoing initiatives include the sponsorship of local sports clubs that are an integral part of the local community and its culture. Each year volunteers from our team take part in various challenges to raise money for charities across Ireland including:

  • 2021 – 2,500 KM Challenge for Barnardos
  • 2022 – Hell & Back for the Mater Foundation
  • 2023 – 200 Km in a month (individual challenge) for The Mater Foundation
  • 2023 – Hell & Back for the Save Our Sonia Campaign

As part of our de-carbonisation goal for 2025, we are working hard to reduce our CO2 emissions. To date, we have replaced 80% of our diesel fleet with fully electric vehicles and in early 2022 we installed solar panels to provide charge to our fleet and reduce our reliance on the national electrical grid.

At IT.ie we believe in being good corporate citizens so that we may benefit our clients, or employees and our community. As a Guaranteed Irish member, we also work hard to live up to its ethos to provide quality jobs, support local communities and are committed to Irish provenance.

7th Meath Scouts
Pat Rathborne 7th Meath Scouts

Dunshaughlin Scouts hosts 160 children broken across 7 different troops, ranging from ages 7 - 18: we have 63 registered adult leaders. In order for us to deliver a program to nurture and grow our kids into capable, independent young adults we need support. Support like that shown to us by IT.ie. Thanks to the support of companies like IT.ie we now have a building, somewhere to store our equipment. Equipment we wouldn't have without this support. This building will become our 'Den', a place to hold our Troop meetings, a place to host other travelling scout groups the way we are hosted when we travel both in and outside Ireland. In order to truly understand the impact a Company like IT.ie has on our group it's best to describe in pictures.... see attached the smiles, the dirt and the general antics that we can accomplish. Thank you for your continued support, words can't describe what it means to us.

Our Four Pillars To Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) isn’t just for the big boys. CSR in the SME’s sector provides valuable contributions to local communities including local employment, sponsorship and fundraising.

Community

We don't simply want to be in your community, we want to be part of it. That's why we proudly support a number of sports teams that represent local communities.

Marketplace

Relationships with our customers, suppliers and partners is a cornerstone of our business practices. We ensure that at every level of our business, we are transparent and ethical in all manner of business dealings.

Workplace

We want to attract and retain the right talent and therefore are committed to good workplace practices. We operate a policy of equality and diversity across all departments and encourage a collaborative working environment where the wellbeing of all team members is paramount.

Environment

We are continually looking for ways to mitigate our impact on the environment with robust waste management practices, the elimination of single use plastics in our offices and a plan to replace our fleet with electric vehicles, starting in 2020
