About Us

At, our customer-centric attitude is driven by a team of dedicated IT professionals. Founded in 2004 by Eamon Gallagher, we began as PCtechnix, providing break/fix IT services to small businesses in Dublin. As the demand for remote and helpdesk support increased, we launched in 2008. By 2014, the demand for managed services driven by cloud technologies had grown significantly, prompting us to transition our business model to focus on fully Managed IT Services. This shift enabled us to better predict growth and revenues streams to invest back into the business. In 2016, we rebranded to after successfully acquiring the domain at auction. As we continued to expand, we outgrew our premises and in 2018 bought a 6,500 sq ft facility to serve as our headquarters and dedicated helpdesk centre. Today, we have offices in Dublin, Cork and Galway.


Collectively we are ISO 27001 accredited, a Microsoft Gold partner, and a member of the Guaranteed Irish community. Individually, our team members are certified and accredited in various IT-related fields and we and we prioritise continuous training to ensure that we can effectively provide solutions to our customers in a constantly evolving technological landscape.

Our History

2004 | Our Journey Begins was founded by Eamon Gallagher in 2004. Prior to setting up his own business, Eamon worked for several years as a Data Specialist for a large multinational pharmaceutical company. During the start-up period of PCtechnix, Eamon concentrated on building up a very large and loyal client base.

2008 | Remote Support

With demand growing for remote assistance and helpdesk support from clients, we set up in 2008. This is a dedicated website to direct all Helpdesk and IT Support Requests our Support Team in Finglas.

2014 | Managed IT Services

In 2014 we made the strategic decision to change our business model from that of mainly Break/Fix services to subscription-based more commonly known as Managed IT Services. This allowed us to better forecast growth with stable revenue streams and to invest back into the business. In 2015 we launched as a strategic niche site intended to drive our Microsoft Cloud Services business solutions.

2016 | Rebranded to

In early 2016 IEDR opens 2 letter domain registration. There was a high demand for the domain and so it went to auction. “I didn’t think I’d get it because I thought the Irish Times might acquire it or the Institute of Technology might claim it,” said Eamon at the time but in the end, we won the auction and came away with the domain. This prompted us to rebrand as and launch a fresh recruitment drive to grow our Team.

2018 | New HQ

In 2018 as we continued to grow, we quickly outgrew our office and helpdesk facility and so purchased a neighbouring and much larger 6,500 Sq, Ft modern premises. This allowed us to accommodate a dedicated Helpdesk centre, Ultra-modern boardroom, office space for Sales, Marketing and Accounts and further secure our ambitious growth plans..

2020 - 2021 | Accreditations

Between 2020 and 2021 the collective efforts of the team saw us awarded a number the following accreditations and certifications: ISO 27001 - Microsoft Gold Partner -Cyber Essentials - Guaranteed Irish status. Individually our team members continue to achieve awards and certifications in across various IT and technology disciplines.

2022 - Sustainability & Growth

in 2022 we installed a large array of solar panels on the roof of our HQ that provided 50% of total electrical supply by the end of the year. This year we also converted 60% of our fleet to full EV with plans for further additions in 2023. In 2022 our headcount has grown to 30 and we opened additional offices in Cork and Galway with our UK entity Nuatech also launched this year.
